With over 30 years of experience under her belt, Janet is a seasoned professional in the world of dog training. Her expertise and knowledge make her a valuable addition to our business and we are thrilled to have her on board.
Janet’s journey in dog training began with Dobermans, but over time she has developed a particular interest in short-legged canines, specifically the Dachshund breed. She has a special companion in Poppy, her very own Dachshund who is skilled in desensitising and Reactive Training with large breed dogs such as German Shepherds. Janet’s passion for teaching and problem-solving is evident in the results she achieves with her clients’ dogs.
As a private dog trainer, Janet will provide individualised training sessions for clients in their own homes. This approach allows her to tailor the training to the specific needs of the client and their dog, which is particularly important in the home environment. Janet will help clients establish clear boundaries and expectations for their furry friends, ensuring a harmonious and happy relationship between pet and owner.
One of Janet’s great strengths is her love for working with puppies. She understands the importance of early socialisation and training to ensure puppies grow into well-behaved, happy dogs. Her methods are gentle and effective, making her a favourite among new puppy owners.
